I am an assisant professor of economics in the Department of Business and Economics at TUM Munich University of Technology. My research focusses on quantitative methods and their application. It includes time series analysis in the time and frequency domain, micro-econometrics, and numerical simulations (DSGE and nonlinear models).

Main areas of application are: business cycles, monetary policy, public debt policy, the distribution of income and wealth, political economy, and the economics of education. Occasionally, I venture into other fields with the help of graduate students and colleagues.
